CANADA – Michelle Harding’s original single ‘2 Scoops’ is a refreshing track that may sound familiar, not only because Michelle has a nostalgic sound but because '2 Scoops' recently supported a highly successful Credit Canada TV campaign that has been playing nationally. The single is now available on iTunes; there is a brand NEW VIDEO and a fall Tour in Canada along with a nomination for "Best Song In A Commercial" at the 2009 Hollywood Music In Media Awards, which will be held at The Highland in the world famous Hollywood & Highlands / Kodak Theater complex in Hollywood, California.

‘2 Scoops’ marks the first single off of Michelle Harding's debut album, Laughing Silent, Dancing Still, and was written by Peter Holmes who has received some 500 national and international awards for his creative work. The song has been rising on Canada's charts since its release this past summer through Soulkiss/Universal. Michelle has a nostalgia about her, even when you first meet her, and the fifties doo-wop rhythm of the song perfectly mixes with the refreshing lyrics of the song. After all, we could all do with a little reminder recently: "throw your troubles away, it's a beautiful day".

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Michelle moved from the north down to L.A. and she seems to have absorbed the sunshine of California into her soul. You can hear it in every note she sings. I suspect it was the time she spent studying drama in New York that lent her that unexpected, pleasant way of surprising you, just when you're sure you've got her all figured out. Something few could gain, unless they've lived in a city of sound.

Now residing in Los Angeles, Michelle is ready to take her unique solo work to a whole new level: with a cross-Canada tour planned to support her album release, Michelle is guaranteed to be certified platinum.
